Tyres- very subjective. I like Avon roadrider 100 or 110/90/18 rear and 90/90/18 front on my Morini but Avons are getting almost impossible to find.
I’ve heard good things said about continental classic attack and they are probably the tyres I’ll try next.
Importantly make sure you for the right size- again a bit subjective but for me bigger tyres than the size I put above feels wrong on a 350 Morini.

I agree with Tom.
My recommendation would be Avon Roadriders, Front 90/90/18 and Rear 100/90/18. I have these on my 3 1/2 Sport and also my 250 Ducati race bike.
Avons are getting harder to find but they appear to be available here...

The 3.25 x 18 and 4.10 mentioned in the book equates to Front 100/90/18 and Rear 110/90/18. These sizes would be fine as a pair although I prefer the narrower sizes. I think the main thing is to stick to a front and rear that are similar in size. Shortly after getting my Morini Sport, a well meaning friend (who creates 'Back Street Heroes' type custom bikes) persuaded me to fit a 130 rear tyre, saying "It'll look loads better.." . Well it may have looked better in his eyes but it ruined the handling and was swapped back very soon after.

Thanks for the info on both reply’s, also the equivalent in metric sizes as I was a bit fixated on the old sizes, also take your point on not going for a wider tyre, I must also relay this to my pal on his Honda cl 450 as he was going to change to wider tyre
Thanks again

I'm with the guys above - Avon Roadriders, Front 90/90/18 and Rear 100/90/18. I too had trouble reconciling what a 4.10 x 18 was. Surely even bigger than 1 4.00 x 18?? Er, no - that's how they described a lower profile tyre back in the day. Mine also originally came with a too big rear tyre (120) which messed up the handling.

For a long time I had Avon Roadrunner. When they disapeared Avon Roadrider (I liked better the Roadrunner). Then I tried BT45, nice tyre but does not last long. Heidenau is ok as well. But since a couple of years I´m delighted with the Conti Classic Attack, for me the best tyre I´ve ever had on a Morini and lasts quite long, much longer than BT45.

I have had Metzeler Roadtech01 tyres 100-90 front and 110-90 rear since the last tyre change and IMHO they are also a very good choice, I have ridden thousands of miles on them in the wet and dry, hot and cold.
Morinis are Italian an I always reasoned the right tyres would be Italian. Pirellis or Metzeler who are owned by Pirelli, so the Roadtech01 tyres are Italian tyres on an Italian bike, which seems like the way forward to me.
