Introductions.

Post by Morinijen »

I'm wondering if it might be an idea to have a seperate section on the Forum for people to post their introductions, rather than having them all one one 'sticky' thread?

As it stands it seems that people don't feel inclined to reply to posts on that thread and it's possible that new members posting introductions may feel somewhat ignored.

I'm sure that new members would feel a lot more welcome if they had one or two responses to their first post.

Also I think it would make it easier to check out who someone is if you're not familiar with the name.
If you wanted to reply to a post by say, 'Ringo-Dingo' for example, and you're not sure who you're dealing with, then (assuming they've made an introduction) it would only take a minute to scroll down the authors in the introductions section and get a bit of background.
Sometimes that can save you from perhaps saying something slightly inappropriate.

Still, just a suggestion.
Keep up the good work. :)

Best Wishes,
Jenny.
