But I mounted them inside the housing so I had to trim a lot off the depth. The white goes off when the indicator flashes and stays off for about 2 seconds. The indicators work by being live permanently and grounding when switched, so I had to fit relays to reverse it, so it grounds the relay coil to energise it and supply 12v to the indicator feed on the lights. I can explain better or give you a sketch if it helps.

I have purchased a pair of sequential indicator strips to replace the originals in the Passo, so I may just fit those first.
Have you left the original indicators in situ?
