MICHELLIN TYRES

Post by vtxbrit »

I have for the last 6 or 7 years fitted Pirelli tyres to my bikes mainly Diablo Corsa III and supercorsa pro, totally love the grip and feel through the bars, although they are a little twitchy in the wet (well very twitchy actually)
After a mate continually nagged me to try the Michelin pilot power 2CT’s I gave in and had a pair put on my Veloce, I have done about 300 miles on them and got caught in very wet roads recently, they were absolutely superb, and virtually the same in the wet as the dry. :D
Their positive feedback through the bike and remarkable short warm up time(much quicker than the Pirelli’s I have always used) make them now my favourite tyre.
I will monitor how long they last although with the amount of unbelivable grip they give its not high up on my negative list.
The guy who recommended them to me is running them on an MV Brutale, he has done about 2,500 miles on them so far and has at least another 700 miles left in them.
I will be using the Veloce on my Portugal trip next week so I will let you know how they fair in the Portuguese sun. :D
