				2006 running lumpy below 2k

				uys
I have a 2006 corsaro love it!
it has the race ecu fitted (with the std race map) and termis
I have been running the bike with the baffles in and find it very lumpy below 2k revs and she has a tendency to stall at junctions etc
I have just ran the bike with the baffles removed and it seams a little less lumpy but I may just be imagining it is better
question is , is this normal for a corsa with these std mods ecu ?

Have you reset the TPS after fitting the race ECU this can make it run lumpy at low revs

				hi thanks for the reply
I have only had the bike a week......
it was serviced in November, the garage also fitted the race ecu and there is a note on the service sheet that said they had re set tps
do I need the ducati diag to access the bikes ecu to re set the tps?

Yes, you will need it.
There has been a lot of discussion about this, have you seen The Ducati Diag Thread?
So I had the setup you have and have since gone from this to the EBi's map. My reasons were that it's too uncomfortable to ride in traffic and its a lot more forgiving in normal use. I have not notice an undue lack of performance without the "Race Map".
If you read the Ducati Diag thread it may help.
Where did you get the bike from? We may know the bike you have, Mine is an 06.
Cheers.

				Hi
To follow the way to do the change to your ECU is listed on the forum in the thread

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2893&hilit=serial+cables
The 2 cables you will need are:
One cable is a USB to serial port converter and the other is a serial port to ECU adapter.
VAG COM USB DIAGNOSTIC CABLE 409.1 OBD2 II LEAD VAG-COM You can get this from Amazon or Ebay. I was told the KKL chipset may be preferable.
16PIN OBD2 TO 3PIN OBD1 DIAGNOSTIC ADAPTOR CABLE F FIAT. Ebay looks good for this one.
You will need a PC with USB ports.
If you follow the topic listed at the top of the reply slowly once you have the cables then you should be OK.
Look at the thread above this one "EBi's Map to get the latest maps downloaded.
If you have any difficulties then ask. I have never had a problem with questions from the other owners.
I bought a Ducati ECU from EBay to practice on so that I didn't fry my original one. It was £60 from Ebay. If you buy an original the it will cost.

The above list is from Twisty a member of the forum, taken from a thread:

Good luck. Once you have the job done it becomes simple.

				Hi,
I have downloaded the IAW Writer and the Bin files, When I load the application and browse the folder that has the .bin files in (after unzipping) nothing is shown within the IAW Writer? Could you advise?
