Pleased to say that today I joined the select ranks of 'Corsaro' owners
and have bought a used 'Corsaro 1200'.

The bike is a red/silver model on a '56' plate showing just over 2.5k miles.

I take delivery some time next week, having px'd my 'Griso 1100' and will be selling my Benelli Tornado RS, to focus on things MM!

My bike is being fitted with the rider/pillion seat, from the MM catalogue - For those who haven't seen them: they are gel-filled and have red stitching, look good quality and listed at just £75.00!

This is my first Morini in over 20 years - My first Italian bike was a 1976, drum brake 3 1/2 strada bought in 1981.

I understand the MM have just advised on some further ECU/mapping
upgrades, which when available will be a free upgrade to existing owners.

Will share any info. I get with forum members.

Sounds like the company continue to be supportive of existing buyers - something largely unheard-of with other manufacturers.

Look forward to being a full member of the forum.

Kind Regards
Stephen R.

Thanks VTX

Promise to give a 'warts n all' report, once I have done a few miles.

In an earlier post I said I'd wait for the new models to hit the showroom.

But the used Corsaro was the less expensive route into modern Morini ownership and to be honest: I couldn't afford to spend more.

Having enjoyed my Benelli, I guess I have got used to standing out from the crowd - something I know you can appreciate.

Hi Stephen (from another) :)
Welcome to a very elite club!! you may wish to read my threads for a few tips on mods etc 8)
There are more mods from the factory than just the ECU? each owner has and will be notified, so I'm told how many and which one's are required. Three Cross will send out info soon.
Cant wait to see the back of this salt and gets some good rides in

Steve

Steve,
Appreciate the advice and will be checking where my bike is, in terms of
Mods when I take delivery, next week.

I'm a great believer in preventative measures and have always applied moisture repellents to vulnerable electrical items, or on the older bikes simply to deter rust.

Read on this forum that water can get into the switch gear...
I'm sure I'll be quite knowledgeable, within a few weeks of reading the various threads!

Thanks for the welcome, fellow 'Corsaro'
