Side stand safety switch

Post by Stevie67 »

Morning

I'm sad to say that I had a slight "Off" from my 2006 Corsaro 1200 last weekend. The bike has thankfully come away from the incident relatively unscathed.
I can only see 3 areas of damage at the moment.
1. Bar end mirror which was an eBay job so can be replaced
2. Left hand foot rest assembly. I think I've managed to source a replacement from Italy but if this is unsuccessful any pointers where I will be able to get one from would be helpful
3. Side stand safety switch. The switch securing tabs have broken off. Any idea where I could source a replacement switch assembly? Is this part shared with any other bikes such as similar year Ducati's?

Thanks

Steve

I hope you are not damaged.

2. Try Moto-Hub in Stoke.
3. Try looking around bike parks then try a Ducati dealer for that model. I bought a Ducati part for my Morini, I think it was the clutch switch. You might find the wires are a different length or colour but as long as it fits that is not going to stop you wiring it up. Just for clarity, I am not suggesting you steal one from Car Park Spares Ltd! :)
