Hi Tim, and welcome to Moriniland :D

I guess that you bought the bike from 3X, and they should be able to provide you with lots. The official Morini site is www.motomorini.com - the Italian language side is more informative, but both will list a good range of accessories...

A useful German site (used by several guys on this forum) is http://www.maniacmotors.de/motomorini/ and they have a good range of additional aftermarket stuff.

North Leicester do a couple of useful bits, and are a long established dealer - there is a direct link from this site

The German importer also has a good website - I think that's www.morini/de

Enough to keep you busy for a while?

Good riding, and don't forget to join the MRC - you know it makes sense

Hi

Thanks for the links 3X told me about th german site but didn't have the addy. I'm off to tour the Picos mountains in Spain and then dropping into Portugal in september so was looking for a extended screen just to make the boring bits more comfortable. Gonna keep it standard till after that but going to give it the full works during the winter so I'm going to start to accumulate the bits. My previous bike was a Hayabusa with nitrous and I've kept the kit and might be tempted to fi it to the Veloce. I still get off this bike with the biggest grin so I'll probably go the standard route with the engine mods and get the suspension fettled by Maxton a lot cheaper than buying top Olins gear and just as effective. Thanks again for the links and I am goin to jointhe MRC.

Hi Tim,
Welcome, I have a 07 Veloce and have put a QD pipe on her as well as a few other little mods, I have not put the race ECU on yet as apparently it slaughters the fuel consumption, at the moment I am getting about 120 miles to empty which is much better than the Benelli I took over their last year.
I am doing 10 days in Picos/Portugal in a couple of weeks and will be taking the MM out from Plymouth (to Santander) and on the way back via Portsmouth which is allot nearer to where I live.
I have looked at fitting a larger screen but as already posted I don't think the cowl bracket will take the additional load.
Have a good season.

Well just got back from my Euro trip (ended up doing france, belg, lux, germany) but didn’t take the MM :x ………… the weekend prior to leaving I took her out for a long spin to scrub in the new pilot power ct's, (superb tyres) and on 2 occasions I stopped the bike to re-fuel both times it wouldn't start again while hot, I had to wait about 25 minutes before it would start. (Tried bump starting but that proved impossible due to the high compression ratio).
Not sure if it’s a fuelling, or ignition problem? Trouble is you can’t crank it over to clear the cylinders like a more conventional bike because it has to go through the stupid auto start cycle.
Ended up taking my Aprilia Tuono which handled and ran superbly even did a few laps around the Nurburgring (not for the faint hearted)

I had this problem a couple of times last year on my '06 corsaro. The advice from the factory via 3x then was to try swapping over the two relays under the Pillion seat. I think possibly one of the relays overheats. It's worth a try if the problem happens again. It only happened 3 times on mine, every time after an hour or more on the motorway. So far no such problems on the '08 bike.
