swinging arms - any differences?

Post by n500 »

Hi everyone

I have a seventies 350 in bits and another one on the road. Does anyone know if i can fit the wire wheel / drum brake back wheel into the swinging arm of a bike with the alloy wheel / drum brake?
Any mods needed or do i have to swap the swinging arm as well (which I don't want to do really as one frame is black and the other one is red!)?

Thanks

Neil

As I remember you can put any drum braked wheel in any drum braked swing arm. The later swingarms have are re-inforcement at the front.

There's only one singing arm listed in the parts manual. The manual covers both wire and alloy wheels.
I would presume that swapping wheel types would not be a problem.
