LED headlight bulbs

Thanks for the link, had not seen these. Certainly look a step (expensive) in the right direction by having a point source of light in the correct location for a dip to work, and the best I have seen to date. Can see also why main beam might be a bit weak, but suspect a MkII version will be along soon at half the price.....

The halogen 35/35W in my 31/2 was fine when working and no problems with charging either - it was just the frequency of bulb blowing that was annoying. Hopefully the LED will be more robust, though as we are in the middle of moving house it could be summer time before time (and funds) permit progress!! Will monitor website (and others) and await developments with interest - eg a 60/55W LED equivalent in a BA20D housing (please)......
