For those who have been waiting Aluminium head gaskets for 350s these will be in stock very shortly.

1973-1979* 350s originally used a composite gasket and require the fire ring step machined in the top of the liner.

From 1979 the factory changed to use a plain aluminium gasket along with three concentric ring grooves machined in the top of the barrel
Aluminium gaskets can be used on all 350s.
*exact engine number of change is not know but I expect K models to use the later type of gasket

Thank you, Mark. It has been a long time coming. Maybe my base gaskets will get used now!

I had two used sets of gaskets so annealed the head and barrel ones this time around. So far so good…..
