It has VHBZ carbs and has new rubber manifolds that I have fitted but not sure where the balance pipe would go, this would help me greatly if it had that, yes it does have a tail piece
Thanks barney

Hi Barney,

Please see photo, the tube running up under the tank connects with the other carb. This is the balance port. If you look at the inlet rubber there is a boss where a hole was drilled on earlier bikes to put a takeoff for balancing. There was a mushroom shaped piece of metal that filled the hole when not in use.

The balance ports Mickey refers to are on the carbs, not the rubber inlet mounts. There is usually a rubber pipe connecting one cylinder to the other, but they may be blanked off by a previous owner.

Blooming 'eck! Italian manufacturing!

Try doing something on the intake rubbers. I've seen a take off fitted from the inside glued in with a screw on cap. I think it is essential on a Morini.
