Service and Repair shops
I'm not always able to tackle jobs on my 84 Sport, lack of knowledge (mostly), tools, a working spine (more often than not)and often enthusiasm (especially in winter) Having spoken to some local shops, none were happy to take on anything to do with the bike other than a puncture and fork seals. At some point I'd like an experienced mechanic to set the valve clearances, Service, clean and balance the carbs, change the belt and check the timing. I'm looking for recommendations close to Bedfordshire or close enough not to have to take 3 busses, 4 trains and two Ubers to get home.

Hi Tim.
Your best bet would be to get in touch with Paul Compton, the Morini Riders Club Technical Guru. Contact details are in ATG. The good news for you is that he is in Luton, near the L&D Hospital.
I believe he is more involved with sports cars these days but I'm sure he would be willing to help you out. There are some old videos on You Tube to give you some idea...
