Morning all, can anybody suggest where to get the side panel fasteners from, I check these regularly but I lost one yesterday luckily the side panel stayed on so must have been near home, I guess the rubber washer must have perished looking at the one on the other side
Thanks barney

Re: side panel knobs
Had a similar experience last week.
Not sure if the clamping knobs are the same but my 500 side panel fasteners are a 6 x 20 mm thread, star shaped.
I found some on eBay item reference 382851710314.
I have two, keeping one as spare, on their way from China.
£4.98 each.
if you have a parts book it should confirm the size you need.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Paul

Re: side panel knobs
Also see Vital Parts Uk. Think Mike Smyth has some knobs on ebay too.
I always have a bath tap washer 3/4 inch glued onto the frame then a smaller tap washer on the knob- they never come undone.

Re: side panel knobs
Thanks both, there definitely m6 I have stamped out 4 new tight fitting washers to prevent this happening again,
Mike smyth? is that his user name ? I will have a look on there now, I have knocked up an alloy one for one with a stainless thread until I get sorted
Thanks again for your quick responses

Re: side panel knobs
I bought some from Vital Parts a couple of years back and can recommend them. They call them hand wheels.
Re: side panel knobs
I had a similar issue with the seat.
Search for plumb handle screw m6 for side panels and m8 for seat, on ebay.
