Kickstart oil seal question

Post by Andy_C »

I have not taken a close look yet so might be able to work it out for myself.

The kick start oil seal leaks on mine, so question is can they be replaced without taking the case off ?

Thanks.

I found that the answer is to use the sidestand as rarely as possible, just for getting on and off, and live with it. Mine will drip if leant over but doesn't when on the centre stand.

Thanks - thought it had a "proper" oil seal and not just an O ring.

Not going to take the cover off just to fix a little drip, so it will have to keep dripping for now.

Thanks for the sidestand advice, TBH I very rarely use it.
