Reluctantly I am going to have to sell my 1982 3 ½ Strada, fitted with an S engine.
Reason is that I just cannot get the hang of the RH gearchange even though I was brought up on them.
I was out on it during the dry cold weather and got myself into a bit of trouble by hitting the gearchange instead of the brake several times, so I think in the interests of safety it is going to have to go.
If anoyne is interested please PM me for more info / pictures etc. I am in Somerset by the way.
Not sure what it is worth but I have a figure in mind - basically what I paid for it, if no interest I will probably stick it on E Bay, it will be sad to see it go as it is fun to ride, but I have mixed up brake and gears too many times, and I just dont feel confident on it anymore.
Reluctant sale...

Re: Reluctant sale...
Have you thought about converting it? My Kanguro is LH gearchange. It's not a very sophisticated crossover arrangement. I think later 3 1/2s were too. I am also in Somerset if you wanted to see a Kang.
1977 3½ Sport, 1986 Kanguro & a "few" other bikes!
Re: Reluctant sale...
Did cross my mind, but decided against it.

The pictures are the ones that the guy I bought it from let me have as I dont have any later pics.
Open to sensible offers if anyone has any interest.
Thanks.

Now sold, did not get what I wanted for it, but near enough.
It has been fun being here, you are an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable group, and made me feel very welcome.
I was sad to see the bike go but I was not prepared to risk getting brake and gears mixed up again.
Plan is to use the money to get myself yet another Kawasaki triple - love the flippin things.
Bye for now.
