Hi all,
I have recently acquired an early 250 2C that was exported from the UK some 15-20years ago in several boxes of parts. Unfortunatly the previous owner passed away and i have little information of its history other than my memory of the tales he told about his antics on bikes whilst living in the Uk for a while.
He always mentioned a chap by the name of Bruce and North Leicester Motorcycles?
This bike was raced (casualy) by some fellow kiwi's in the uk and it has been painted green and has "Hairy Berry racing" painted on the tank (Kiwi Fruits)!
Im not sure on the rest of the details but i have lots of spares including wheels and up-rated parts that most likely were fitted when used on the track such as Bigger 25mm carbs, 2/1 exhaust, twin disc front end and heavier forks with an alloy brace.
Can anyone identify what year the bike is from the frame number -J-*0360* which apears to be a very early number going by what i have found so far on the web. I also have the original tax disc with registration number that i guess could be traced?
Any info would be much appretiated.
Happy new year to all even if its not nice to be Morini riding in the Uk at present!
Mike
