Rear indicator "bushing" - fixing query.

If you've also seen this on the Morini email list, apologies ....

As per the subject, I'm getting the rear indicators re-fitted, checking the parts piccie and looking at the bits I have and there's one thing I'm not sure of. Partly because the frame's been powder coated so the hole in the frame bracket (that the rear indicators attach to) is no longer as it was from the factory and partly because my memory is a little hazy on the subject. The bushing mentioned (look on the parts diagrams from NLM's website. The 'Indicators' section, 12b, #7, with a part number of 14.05.22 - bushing for vibration damper) helps isolate the indicator from the frame vibrations but does it a) clamp up 'against' the frame bracket or b) pass 'through' the frame bracket hole so that it's clamped up against the securing nut/washer?

I think it should be the latter but if anyone can enlighten me I'd appreciate it.
