Low down on German Ignition.

I've been beating on my little Italian girlfriend for the past few weeks (esp during my trip to Dallas). Now the bike is cutting out again at high RPM and I suspect that one of the transducers is just going to fail entirely. So, I know I have a lot of options here, but I was wondering if anyone tried this German electronic ignition with tunable advance curve:
Morini Ignition from elektronik-sachse
Is it worth the money? Which curves have you tried? Did you get any performance improvement or was it just like the stock Ducati ignition?
It really costs a lot more than getting new transducers or buying a Boyer, but it looks like some time went into it and it is also tunable which I think would be nice for a change.
