Rear Brake switch

Post by unreal »

Hi all, as the Strada progresses I have just fitted the Valentini 2-1 pipe, what a sod! They are very tight and I ended up making spacers etc. Anyway, it looks like the rear brake light switch will no longer fit as the pipes too close. Does any one know if there's a rear brake cable with an inline brake switch, or who might make one up? Also is a rear light switch a legal requirement if there's a front switch?

I had the same problem on the 2C/375 with a 2:1 system. No brake cable with a switch available for a 250. I managed to rig up a generic pull switch mounted on a clamp on the frame and with a bit of twisted wire joining the return spring to the brake pedal. Crude but effective.
