What is the correct route for the large diameter crankcase breather pipe which emerges to the rear of the engine.
Also I have a crack in the clutch lever pivot handlebar assembly. Do I assume this will be an expensive item to replace.Anyone got a spare?
Rear Crankcase breather pipe
Hi,
On my Kanguro it was routed back and tie-wrapped inside the nearside subframe below the seat. Rear clutch pivot/lever assembly I have some ex-Kanguro bits I will be selling soon, not sure if it is the same type of lever?
Regards
Robin

Hi,
Do you just have the metal pipe that is connected to the breather outlet via a piece of hose as there should be, or is on mine, a larger piece of hose with a plastic baffle arrangement inside it. This main breather hose is important as the baffles in the hose provide the back pressure for pushing the oil mist up the pushrod tubes to lube the valve gear. I was about to horrendous modify mine in ignorance until I saw a post explaining the operation of the main breather hose.
