New Member Intro

Hi all,
Have been viewing this site on and off for a while, and decided to sign up to keep in touch with all things Morini.
I have a 31/2 Sport, that I have owned from new, that I bought in June 1978, and it now has 92,000 miles on it.
It is a cast wheel, non electric start model.
It has been all around the UK, Europe and I even took it with me to Australia for a holiday a few years ago and toured there on it. A real attention grabber over there.
These last few years it hasn't had the use it deserves, due to the usual suspects (wife, kids, job, mortgage etc) but I am now in the process of rectifying that – I know it needs new main bearings, and I will soon be fitting some, and seeing to anything else that being SORN'd for 5 years shows up.
I have often wondered what is the oldest 1-owner from new Morini out there. Anyone know? I've had mine for 29 years.
