Is it possible to dismantle/refurbish an original steering damper? The one on my Sport has no discernible effect and I'd like it to live up to its name and do some damping. (Not that the Strada suffers from not having one at all).

Hi Mark, they don't really need them at all, as your strada proves. I still wanted my Sport to be original and have one fitted, so I was very pleased when another member was able to supply one that looked the part but actually doesn't do any damping! Best of both worlds, I'd say.
