Headlight wiring

Hi guys, I've spent 3 days trying to get the headlight to work. Wired up as blue book for 6 pole switch but can only get a side light. That goes out when switched to main beam. Is the handlebar switch connected to earth?
Anyone got a diagram of switchgear to headlight?

Try this wiring diagram. The headlight housing is an earth point as are the indicator mounts, these are a known issue.

This diagram has been modified to suit our Morini so there may be some differences but all the electrics work, headlight flasher is on dipped beam from factory.

The problem with mine was that the headlight had been changed from the original and a separate + feed had been put into the equation. There is a link in the original headlight switch that is supposed to feed the main/dip switch for either Main or Dip. This was not the case with mine, I don't know why. I inserted a link from the Light switch "on" connection to the Main/dip switch and removed the secondary + feed. Bob's you uncle.
It has an MOT now but the DVLA have just rejected my Registration because of a duplicate Spanish Registration document. How to remove the "Duplicado" stamp on the Log book?
