I'm having some issues with the clutch on my recently rebuilt 350 Sport. It's generally fine, if a bit more notchy than I'd like, but if the bike gets very hot (when you're stuck heavy slow moving traffic you can't get through, for example) the clutch get progressively worse as the bike gets hotter. Initially it becomes harder and harder to get into neutral, then the clutch gets grabby and then it drags badly enough to need the brake to hold it and the bike then is virtually unrideable. Once its cooled off, everything is fine again.

Sigh. Obviously something is interfering or rubbing when its gets hot. Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing the problem, before I start stripping the clutch down?

i would check condition of cable if in doubt replace, have a look at the adjustment on the engine the arm shouldnt touch the caseing , usually when the the engine gets hot you get more slack in the cable adjust at the bar lever end for a bit of free play , there not easiest things to set up i admit, try this before striping clutch down. muller

It could just be dust. Being an un-ventilated dry clutch, they need cleaning out occasionally. Warped or contaminated drive/friction plates would be the next thing.
