Is there a difference between the clip-ons used on the 74/75 Sports (rounded tank) and the later square tank Sports?

I wasn't going to answer your question because I didn't know the answer (perhaps I still don't), but then I saw Tom's advert for 77 Sport Verlicchi clip-ons. Each clip-on is made from three pieces. Each clip-on on my 75 Sport (I think they would be originals) is made from two pieces only, without the bridging piece on Tom's clip-ons.
