Starter Relay migration

Should I? Its awfully ugly and the side covers look like leftovers from the last Star Trek Movie. Seems to belong behind the non fusebox side cover where a single tab mount sits for the tool box container . There is a Tyco 12v 75A relay that looks like it would fit for $26 on ebay. Might even be smaller that stock. The bike in question is a '79 or '80 strada and is coming along fine. I even have a pair of early model sidecovers to use. Thoughts? Might be fun to make a new tool box and integrate the relay and starter fuse in...
