Digital ignition systems

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of digital ignition systems?

It seems the two main alternatives are Sachse electronics and Horsepower-there's quite a price difference between the two. Which is easier to fit? Any known problems?

I've previously used the Boyer system on Guzzis with great success.

i am currently testing a new ignition.
the electronics mounted instead of the pickup, it just needs a set of 12 volt coils.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJlr2diVCeY

it runs from the battery, but only uses about 24 watt at 8000 rpm, less at lower revs.
it is fully programmable using a laptop, so any advance curve should be possible.
i just fitted it last friday, so cant say much except it runs fine so far. :D

( i'm not the maker, just the owner of the test mule...)

I run the Sachs system on the supercharged 350 land speed racer,

It has performed flawlessly for me for 4 race seasons so far,,,,

Make sure you use proper coils and you'll get very strong spark ( 35000 volts)

Enough to fire cold running racing plugs stressed with 12 lb of supercharger boost....

Emailed him-he has retired. He suggested Pazon ignitions. There 's a number of UK dealers but none lists Morini. I'll contact a couple.

Well, the bike is running again on the NLP replacement coils and box. It seems the instructions meant the diodes in the box were connected up the wrong way. So a digital system can wait.

The carburation is horrible, so that's next.
