Hi all, I urgently need a replacement stator for my 500, which is proving difficult to source. I understand that the stator from a 250 or 350 can also be used, with a wiring mod. I'd be grateful if anyone out there is able to help! Thanks for any feedback.

Please can you provide a photo or two of your current stator (if you have one) and also let us know what's wrong with it. I might be able to match what you need to what I have. My possible candidate is probably from a late Kanguro and most likely needs rewinding, it's certainly messily wired and I bought it with the aim of redoing the wiring to keep my bikes on the road.
