Hello All,

I am having trouble locating the "Serial Number" of my 1985 K2 motor.

I have a 1970's era "A" engine case pair (with cutout window for setting the Transmission clearances) that has the number stamped on the upper rear engine mount "Boss".

However, on the "K" cases (350) and the "H" engine cases I have (125) I can find nothing....

Can anyone shed light on this????

Hi,

For the Italian market the engine numbers were not stamped, the numbers were stamped for export only.
So the machine or cases are an unofficial/grey import or after the official import ceased, most likely from Italy

Thank You Thank you,,, just what I needed to know as my racing organization inspector of the bike has concerns about no stamped serial number....
