when i purchased my 3-1/2 a few month ago. it came with a spare belt which i believe is new when i fitted this belt and checked the ignition timing with a strob light it flashes in the correct place but it it flashes in a different place every rotation about 3mm either side of the PMS1 mark on the flywheel.it starts first or second kick and runs well.is this normal for the marks to move in the strob light:?:

Perfectly normal for an idling Morini. It's a combination of the untensioned cambelt and a weak signal from the ignition pickup at low rpm.
