Hello!
I am looking for the spring that fits immediately behind the flywheel.
Part M22.01.37.
Do you have one? Or do you know where I can get one?
I am trying to sort my Franken-bike and on dismantling flywheel and stator plate I found the spring was missing and (most likely) as a consequence there were filings from the flywheel where it mates the shaft, all over the stator plate...
Will reward generously for the bother of posting to London
Help! Spring behind flywheel M22.01.37
Re: Help! Spring behind flywheel M22.01.37
… fearing it’s going to be hens’ teeth, I ordered what I think it’s the right kind of spring:
19mm ID, 3mm wire, 25mm OD
and also just in case:
20mm ID, 3mm wire, 26 OD
IF anybody has one one the bench (belt change etc) it would be great if you could measure it and confirm or correct me…

Hi Marco,
Whilst my bikes are assembled, I do know that the spring you need is a very close fit on the crank, and is made with square section wire.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help you with either a spring or the dimensions of it.
If no one else is able to help, I feel encouraged to hurry up and get the annual belt change done on mine and I'll measure mine when it is off.
Regards,
George

Re: Help! Spring behind flywheel M22.01.37
Probably I have one of theses springs (I´m quite sure)
The problem is that the spring is in Germany and I´m in Spain til the end of may
So if you can´t find one ´, remind me. The easiest way would be if a Morinisti of GB comes to the german meeting and could take it with him
