Tank edging

Post by Lewes96 »

Anyone know a good source of the edging trim for the bottom of 3 1/2 tanks?

Although it protects the paint from chipping especially when the tank is off the bike
It also holds water/moisture which is why you rarely see it on most Morinis

Interesting, most I have seen seem to have it on.

I have used this long established business for classic car and bike trim, including tank and fairing edge trim. They are based five minutes from J27 M5 (Somerset) and offer postal sales, historically they have provided small sections as samples.

I used "door edge trim" from the local auto parts. Virtually identical to the original edging.
