swan neck kick start to use with Tarozzi rear sets

Just joined the forum after buying a three and a half sport. A friend has one of the new swan neck kick starts from NLM and it looks great. I quite fancied one but every time he kicks it over it fouls on the folded rear set. It does it every time and he has now fitted the old kick start. Has anyone out there had simlar problems?

I will be able to let you know in a few weeks. I just ordered a swan-neck lever and Tarozzis for my 3.5 Sport from NLM. Should ship tomorrow. Stuart indicated that on some installations there is a little interference with the peg, but most situations can be resolved with a bit of finesse. Each installation will be slightly different. NLM sell an extender block, but it only works with the Sport knuckle (which is what you should have as is) and, in my opinion, ruins the aesthetics.

The footpegs should be the flip up type (at least on the left side)
The swan neck lever contacts the toe piece to the rear brake and
you need to shorten this by 1/3 or so.

My swan neck does indeed foul (is a swan a fowl?) slightly the rear brake pedal. Not a prob 75% of the time but embarassing when it stick under the pedal and the ratcher whirrs away!

Any chance of fabricating / selling a few of these brackets with rubber stops?

I have made one from cardboard and tape first.
