Milano rear mudguard thingy

Mine fractured and got itself wrapped around the rear hugger.

I know of another that fractured in the same place and deposited itself in the road.

There is a modified part which is now fitted.

I urge anybody with a Milano to ask the supplying dealer for the modified part.

Easy to fit.

Top picture shows modified arm against old arm (showing the fractures at the end of the arm).

Middle shows the modified arm

The lower is the unmodified part.

I have done about 900 miles on the new part and it has not moved. Looks good at the moment.

WARNING
upgraded part is not a fix, I had the upgraded part from new (2021 SuperScrambler) and it failed in 2500 miles fortunately thanks to knowledge on here i was monitoring this tail unit for possible fault and caught it before it failed catastropichally.
Replaced with a modified BMW S1000 tail tidy from R & G which has now done 8000 miles.

Ditto, same problem here.
Our fix was a new black moulding made from fibre composites, directions for how to do it this way are in a previous issue of A Tutto Gas.
IMHO both the fixes (metal and fibre composite) look good on the bike and have clocked up significantly more mileage than the originals and both are still working perfectly.
