X-Cape 1200 Test report in Mtorcycle Sport and Leisure

Post by corsaro chris »

The heading says it all.

Article by Alan Cathcart, an acknowledged Morini fan (he has 2 Corsaro 1200s). He rides a pre-production model in Autumn 2025 and was impressed "an imposing piece of metal", although with a high seat [840cm] and a dry weight of 259 kg. Of more concern might be his observation that the large fuel tank meant that the stepover, where the tank meets the seat, is too wide. This lead to difficulties in him getting both feet on the ground; worrying for those of an average stature and a world away from the good design of the earlier GranPasso...

Read the review in the March 2026 MCS&L. Oh, and in the April edition there's a test on the Alltrhike 450 dual purpose Morini; both 1200 and 450 will be in the UK in the Spring; ATG has more details...

Good riding!
