K2 to Refurbish / Restore NOW SOLD

K2, I think 1986. Spanish import so will need dating cert from Arthur to get registered. It looks pretty complete and unmolested to me. It didn't have any silencers but I have found some that are in not bad condition. It was seized when I got it but I guessed just from standing so removed the front head. A bit of home brewed penetrating oil worked and I got the barrel off to have a look. It was just from standing and as they are Gilardoni Nikasil both piston and bore should be fine. Will need new rings though. Now kicks over easily and has all 6 gears. The fork chrome seems good. All the brakes will need going through but the front at least has no fluid in and looks clean. I took one carb bowl off and all tidy inside. There are no keys with the bike which is a shame but not the end of the world. I have some here that may be useable if the lock barrels are changed. I may even have a spare lock barrel and key. Looking for £600. Worth more as bits but it would be a shame to break one that is so complete. Thanks Ian
