Not sure if anyone will have a use for these but I just replaced my original black Lafranconi silencers with new ones from NLM. The originals are single seam (top) with drain holes underneath if that helps anyone trying to match.
The left one is complete and works fine (could do with some heat resistant paint maybe) but the right hand one has a couple of small holes (hence replacement). I've had a closer look and reckon if someone has access to welding gear a small plate could be welded over the holes to seal and then re-paint and it would be fine. Alternatively a "gun gum" patch could be used but would not look as neat.
The holes are underneath so the "repair" would not be visible and may be useful for someone to tide them over until new parts can be sourced.
If anyone is interested let me know - open to offers plus postage (unless collection from Peterborough is viable).
Can take some pictures if required - apart from the holes (which I have made larger to dispose of rusted bits) there are no dents or dings in either.
