My Kanguro x which has been languishing in the shed for about 3 years has a fiberglass tank.

Because it was on the sidestand the small amont of petrol in it was all in one side of the tank, causing the other side to dry out and split beyond repair.

If anyone has a useable x or x1 tank they'd sell I would be able to get her back on the road.

BTW are the tanks on the early series 'roos fibreglass as standard? I always assumed mine was a larger aftermarket item and the std item was steel. The bike also has an aftermarket handlebar fairing/twin headlamp unit as well and I think they were part of an accessory kit.

Hi, I've got a Kanguro X tank which might suit. It's got a bit of wear/damage around the mounts but if it did need repair it doesn't seem beyond repair. Apart from that it's in nice undented condition with original paintwork.
