pushrods

hello all, in need of pushrods front and back pots also piston gudgeon pin strada or sport will do please have a look not great but servicable will do thanks all, muller.

It is possible to make your own pushrods.i have done so in the past but do not know how long they lasted as I sold the bike.

Interesting project that Buelle, make your own pushrods - its a bit like dig your own grave, which I have been doing quite successfully in the dark corner of my shed. In all seriousness though - its not a bad idea, but I doubt I have the capability or know how to do such a thing. I will wait and see if anything turns up on the forum. Thanks Paul

It is quite simple. Some tubing and steel caps. The indent is made by striking an appropriately sized ball bearing into softened metal then hardening by the traditional method of heating and quenching in oil.

Obviously care has to be taken to protect your eyes when striking the ball bearing.

I did this for a matchless 350. Obviously slower revving but it worked fine.
