Investigating a slight weep of oil on this Coguaro around the right engine side. Not the crank seal. I replaced the gear selector oil seal a few weeks ago.The oil may be coming out via the pushrod seal, then running down over the neutral switch and back and under the rear cases, I removed the clutch arm and pulled out the short pushrod ( approx 29.8mm long by 6.96 mm diameter on this one) and the small oil seal ( 14 mm od 4 mm thick ?7mm I’d) The ends of the pushrod are not bad but along its length is somewhat scored and chewed. Do not know how or why? Seems a bit odd though.Wonder about the inner bore.
Can anyone confirm this short rod size or part number. I will try and source a replacement and seal.
If it’s not one thing it’s another.....

				HI,
500 & 501 engines
Clutch operating (release) rod is 30mm long and a diameter of 7mm
Two clutch release rods both 89mm long with a diameter of just under 5mm
Clutch operating 'mushroom' 50mm long and again with a diameter of just under 5mm and the head diameter is 16.25
Trust this helps, Ian

Complete clutch operating mechanism arrived today wrapped in Bezirksblätter Tirol.Clutch arm dimple barely worn.Swapped the lot.If it had not been for the postage it would have been VERY cheap.Still a good result.

Hey John is that a kind of cheese? I did find a pushrod but it looked like it had been nibbled by mice.

No mice here, just an Austrian newspaper. And as I write the cat just deliver a mouse.I’ll give it the paper to read.
