stator

hi. I bodged connecting my stator to the back plate with screws but can someone advise me as to what is this best way to do a better/proper job?

As per comments on the whatsapp group-plus perhaps a couple of close fitting rivets to guarantee the alignment once the screws are tight? ON the one I have to do there were 3 main rivets and a couple of smaller ones doing less stressful jobs such as providing and earth connection. As you mentioned there too, the screw heads need to be small enough to not foul anything, or dressed back after assembly for clearance?
