Camel, front brake master cylinder diameter

The front brake on my Camel is extremely wooden in feel and I’m contemplating replacing the master cylinder with a small diameter unit to improve this. Can anyone tell me what the standard diameter is?

Sorry… it’s a 1984 MK3 500 Camel (last of the twin shock models)
