Re: Cam belts
If they were mine, I say it depends on how and where they have been stored.
Sealed away from light and excessive temperatures they should be ok. Hanging on a nail on the shed wall and it's a no-no.
I fitted a 4 year old belt last year, to my Sport but it had ben kept in the sealed poly bag it came in, inside a box where it was safe from mechanical damage.
Regards,
George

Re: Cam belts
Thanks George.
Mine have been in a closed box inside another box in the shed so I guess (hope!) they’ll be ok.

Re: Cam belts
I’ve read a lot about cambelts on the forum but need recommendations for which make is best? The 124L075 belt is a standard belt made by many companies. Which is the best for the Morini 3 1/2? Also where to buy it from? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Cam belts
I recently got a Gates Powergrip one from Simplybearings. It was less than £10. Gates belts are top quality.
Re: Cam belts
I usually get belts from RS but recently some of them were a bit tight causing a whine. Sometimes this does resolve after a few miles done. Both my bike are now running B pulleys to make life easier.
An alternative is to get a belt from Mdina Italia, graded for your pulley.
