Dear Huey,
It all really comes down to demand and supply. The failure of Morini to achieve a return to its shareholders in a declining market was the reason why the company ran out of cash. The motorcycles in themselves are true to Morini's heritage, they are uncomplicated, easy to maintain and built to last. Chris is right, there has always been a demand for second hand Morini's. Most of us over the years have purchased ex demo's from dealers who have taken the brand on without real commitment. The poor sales of new bikes hasn't helped, due partly to the distinct lack of marketing support, no finance deals here, no large corporate budget, just some clever engineers who know how to produce a real motorcycle. Three years on I'm very happy with my 9.5 and whats more it just gets better. Plenty of
people have asked me if its for sale, i just say no. Yes we all hope the factory starts up again but if it doesn't I still have a great motorcycle that many people would like to own.
