Supercharged Morini at El Mirage 2016

Hello All,

I got back from the racing season opener at El Mirage last night and the mighty little morini posted its best speed ever.

119.166 mph at the high desert track..... this is up from the 115.5 to 116,5 runs I made most of last year....

The difference is a new custom camshaft grind that works better with the blower... It is working exactly as predicted by my calculations....

It is so nice when the math works out at the track...a 7% power gain with just the cam change!

They are running again today, but I am sitting today out as I need to check the piston and head in the front cylinder....

Review of the video of the gauges as she went down the track showed the front cylinder was detonating in 5th and 6th gears...

With a proper burn rate in the front cylinder next go,,, I'm sure 120 mph will happen soon.....

What kind of bike is this?

It is a Modified 1985 K-2.....

Road racing fairing, supercharged (roots blower), blower cam, lowered compression, tuned megaphone individual exhaust pipes.

RWHP stock was 26 hp....It is about 45 hp now...
