The time has come for a Dart Transplant... so my 1991 350 Dart is up for sale, and I'd like it to go to someone in the riders club, who will use it and look after it. Attendees of the riders club trackday will have seen it whizzing around in the Morini group, and often as not with a cup of tea perched on the seat between sessions.
It's currently showing about 34,500kms or so, and has been enthusiastically looked after by myself for the past few years. I picked it up at auction in 2021, and recommissioned it at that time, and it's been boringly reliable ever since. I documented (the interesting bits of) the rebuild over at http://nronketti.wordpress.com/ - with a few photos. Non standard bits that I'm aware of are the exhaust (no idea what it's off, but it's been well put together, and makes a lovely woofly noise), the YSS rear shock, and a gammatronix LED on the instrument cluster to reveal charging status.
I've had a lot of fun on it, and for sure, there will be more Morinis in my life (I'm not giving up the club membership for exactly this reason) but I've been offered the chance to have something really rather rare and exotic in my garage, which is something I've been after for a few years now and just can't pass up.
Comes complete with a spare set of club bodywork which has been test fitted, but never used in anger. £2250 to a club member. The bike is located in Cambridgeshire, near Ely. It's MOTd, so could happily be ridden away.
