Hello, i am a relative novice to Morinis and am having a last minute panic before te track day as i have a problem again with my 500 track bike.
Seems to start fine and tick over when cold ,but when it gets hot it fluffs when you snap open the throttle and frequently dies,i have suspected the float levels before now,but they seem ok.
Also on one transducer the earth led is in a poor state from the sealed box,is that a cause for concern, and if so where would i source a new one?
I could always take it to someone if i have time i suppose.
Thanks for any ideas.
500 poor running,carburation?
Re: 500 poor running,carburation?
Most transducers have a Bianco (white) terminal this is a common earth with the moulded lead, connect this to frame earth. Also on one transducer the earth led is in a poor state from the sealed box,is that a cause for concern
I always connect the white terminals it adds redundancy.
On some models particularly the standard 500 and later 350s the white terminal is connected to the stator as well.
