Thanks both. Further investigation of NY parts book suggests that New York does not actually use a labyrinth, the functionality I guess being replaced by the Oil recovery box. This would explain why the pipe from the crankcase is empty.
Unless anyone else knows different of course.
Many thanks

Hey there,
Is there a plan for the production of more breather labyrinths? If so earmark one for me please.

Re: Clamp ring for carb to head rubbers 501
I guess the key thing is the design file. I do have some CAD software. I will wrestle with it if no one can point to a source of suitable products.

501 intake rubbers carb to head
Hi
The intake rubbers on my NY are stamped MM32. Are these correct for a 501? Any advice welcome.
Thanks in advance

Re: NY Wiring fixed. Now onto front brake
Thanks, John. maybe tracked this down now.
The caliper looks to be used on the Kanguro X3 and a couple of Husqvarna trailies of the similar vintage.
Mdina have the kits for the former and used calipers if needed.
Cheers

NY Wiring fixed. Now onto front brake
Hey there,
Getting close on getting NY ready for MOT and registration. Wiring all fixed so now on to the front brake which barely works at all. Lever feels very woffy, one piston in the caliper is seized and the other corroded and barely moves. I note there are no dust seals either.

Keys
I’m sure this has been mentioned before. Seeking a duplicate ignition key, Keystation were really good. They seem to have all the old blanks and were able to cut to an image.
I sent photos front and back with a measure next to the key.
A working key came back in 3 days. About £16 including ...

Re: Left Hand light Switch - New York
Thanks Tom
Julian has found one and is sending it through. So I should be good now. Also I have sourced a main loom with all its connectors, so I now have everything I need either on the way or on the shelf.
Thanks all for advice and wise counsel. I am so appreciative of everyone’s help.

I had some indicators from these folks.
Looks like they have a few variations, with interesting price variations and one which is the correct length and configuration Will follow up.

Hey there,
Repair is completed. Refixed withe solder and filled up the dish with araldite. Seems much stronger, I will give it a bit of support with a cable tie to the frame will see how it performs.
Thanks all for wise counsel.
