Mechanical tachometer repair

Can anyone recommend a repairer for the mechanical tachometer, mine is more fluttery than a damsel in distress.

Peter Bond in South London.

Have you checked/lubricated the cable-inner? Fluttering needles is usually a precursor to one breaking

Try with a drop of grease there.
